Diabetes

I know this sounds like I have a strange post to make on this website. After all, this is mostly about the walking that we are going to be doing crossing the United States on foot from Homestead, Florida to Seattle, Washington but I felt this would be a good post to do because it concerns us and many other people out there.

Well for those of you who do not know Chad was recently diagnosed as a type II diabetic which means he’ll make this walk a little bit funner for us to have to do we have to pay attention to his dietary needs and keeping his sugar in check for this whole endeavor that were on, so I figured I would cover a few things about diabetics to help straighten out some of the misconceptions that people have about them and how I got to know so much about diabetes.

One of the more common mistakes people make about diabetics is that they cannot consume any sugar. Well yes sugar is a factor because the way turns into glucose in the blood, but is not even really that big of an issue. So let’s start off with what diabetics really need to look for in their diet to help keep their blood sugar in check. Most diabetics need to him. Mostly watched their starch intake because what happens is insulin that is generating the pancreas cells delivered to turn the starches into sugars in the bloodstream. Now, there are ways you can combat this princes eating whole-wheat bread and anything multi grain the more grains the better, then they can always go and make sure they consume our cinnamon in their diet they also have to watch. There’ll liquid intake, preferably water to make sure thereby has enough water in so to flesh out the excess material otherwise known as sugar. Now, there are a multitude of things they have to watch for so many in fact I am not going to list them all, but a little bit of homework on your part will get you going in the right direction, because remember, everybody is a little bit different and there is a reason why the medical doctors are cold artists and not scientists, hence the name. The art of medicine. It does not state the science of medicine.

Now, while thinking about it. I have a strange idea. I have not tested it yet but from I know about writing mechanics it should work now some of you may have heard of other thing called Ranger beads, pace counting beads, orienteering beads, and any other kind of name to it. What they basically are the meaning of keeping track of your steps. When you walk it it’s used to determine distances will hiking using map and compass, no banner that you will not forget your step count. Now what I was thinking about use of those would be his monitor your water intake for everybody drinks about proximally the same amount whenever they filled her mouth up with water or a tablet or drinking the variance will occur whether straw from atop hot or cold carbonated or not but once you figure out how much you consume you can use those Ranger beads as a mean keeping track of your water intake. In fact, I have a set of them and plan on using them on this walk just for monitoring my water intake. Now the good thing is if you do not know what I’m talking about a looking around on the Internet for any of those phrases beforehand will give you some good results. And if you decide you want to buy a set we do sell them here to on this website and you buy from us. There is no shipping charge and all the proceeds will be going towards this walk will find him underneath. The store link in the top of the page.

Now, I think it is my responsibility to let you know why no so much about diabetic’s. Well I have had many girlfriends in the past weapon diabetic I’ve many of friends and my dad is a diabetic and because of that so much relations with the people with diabetes. I have made it a point to learn about this disease.

I hope you enjoyed this post and have a good day

PS
I forgot to mention earlier that stress will cause the liver to produce sugar in the bloodstream, so one of the things you need to do to keep your blood sugar in check is keep the stress levels down. I personally believe a lot of the type II diabetics out there were probably diagnosed due to being tested when they were under great amounts of stress or emotional turmoil.

Sorry there is no image attached to this post. I am having problems with a plug-in for Word press. I am trying to fix this too.
